Hudson Valley Divorce, LLC, is a full service divorce financial consulting firm. Our business is limited to working with individuals and couples facing separation or divorce. We work with clients using litigation, mediation and the collaborative process.
How we help
In litigation, we represent you and provide matrimonial litigation support to your attorney by presenting strong financial data to substantiate the proposed settlement including summary net worth reports (pre and post-divorce), after-tax cash flow for each spouse, and equitable distribution of marital assets reports. We can also determine the value of advanced degrees and pension plans.
In mediation or collaborative divorce, we work with the couple to develop various equitable distribution scenarios and provide summaries and recommendations to the mediator or attorneys for use in creating the couple’s separation or divorce agreement.
Robin Vaccai Yess, the firm’s founder, is a Certified Financial Planner™ and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. She has more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry and has been working with divorcing clients since 2001 when she opened the area’s first fee-only financial planning firm. In 2009, she formed Hudson Valley Divorce, LLC, to provide dedicated divorce financial consulting services to clients, their attorneys and mediators located within the Mid-Hudson Valley. Although Robin is not an attorney, she has completed collaborative law training and is a member of Ulster County Collaborative Divorce Professionals. Over the years, she has worked with individuals and couples going through separation or divorce and has provided support and recommendations to attorneys and mediators to help them develop equitable financial settlements on behalf of their clients.
